32nd annual Summer Arts Camp for 3rd-6th graders
Five exciting days of art making and exploration for children entering 3rd-6th grades.
Session I: July 17-21 or Session 2: July 24-28 from 10am-3pm
This year's Summer Arts Camp theme is "Studio Arts!” Camp Coordinator Melissa Hronkin, along with guest artists, will guide students through fun and educational activities geared for the young artist. Youth will experience a week of projects focused on exploring a variety of art mediums. Activities include: nature sketching, creating clay pendants or whistles, Chinese brush painting, making small books, ukulele playing, and more! Campers will learn in a fun,supportive, and educational environment. Camp is held Monday-Friday,10am-3pm. Students must wear play clothes and bring a sack lunch.
Summer Arts Camp Fee
Register and pay by July 1st, $110. After July 1st the fee is $125. The discounted fee is only given to applicants that pay by the early registration deadline. Deadline to register for either session is Tuesday ,July 11. Supplies included. SPACE IS LIMITED.

7th annual Book Arts Camp for 8th-12th graders
August 7-11 from 10am-3pm
A unique opportunity for students in grades 8-12 to study bookbinding, creative writing, zines, letterpress printing, paper marbling, and block printing on August 8-12 from 10am-3pm. This program is supported through a New Leaders grant from the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs. Students should have an interest in the arts or a curiosity to learn some of the fine craft behind book arts.
Book Arts Camp Fee
FREE. This year we are able to offer Book Arts Camp as a free program due to Portage Health Auxiliary support and support from the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs. Students must COMPLETELY fill out an application form in order to be considered.
