31st annual Summer Arts Camp for 3rd-6th graders
This year's Summer Arts Camp theme is "Environmental Art.” Camp Coordinator Melissa Hronkin, along with guest artists, will guide students in a variety of art making activities. Youth will experience a week of projects focused on connecting with the planet! Activities include earth art sculpture, paper making from natural fibers, beeswax resist batik, field sketching, clay pendants, creative movement, writing, Native American art, visits to the nearby Labyrinth, and painting with natural dyes. Campers will learn in a fun, supportive, and educational environment. Camp is held Monday-Friday,10am-3pm.
Students must wear play clothes and bring a sack lunch.
Summer Arts Camp Fee
Register and pay by July 1st, $110. After July 1st the fee is $125. The discounted fee is only given to applicants that pay by the early registration deadline. Deadline to register for either session is Tuesday, July 12. Supplies included.

6th annual Book Arts Camp for 8th-12th graders
A unique opportunity for students in grades 8-12 to study bookbinding, creative writing, zines, letterpress printing, paper marbling, and block printing on August 8-12 from 10am-3pm. This program is supported through a New Leaders grant from the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs. Students should have an interest in the arts or a curiosity to learn some of the fine craft behind book arts.
Book Arts Camp Fee
$80 if registered and paid by July 26 after July 26; $95. Deadline to register is August 2.. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to register.
