children entering 3rd-6th grades. This year’s theme is “Balancing Act.” Students will explore visual and
literal balance through projects including Alexander Calder inspired stabiles and mobiles, Henri Matisse inspired circus collages, and figures in motion plaster sculptures. Gestural drawings and movement classes will be integrated to round out students’ full-brain learning. Camp Coordinator Melissa Hronkin, along with guest artists, will guide students in this art making journey by creating a fun, supportive environment. Camp is held Monday-Friday, 10am-3pm. Students must wear play clothes and bring a sack lunch.
