Welcome to Copper Country Community Arts Center
The Copper Country Community Arts Council (CCCAC) (established in 1972) and the Copper Country Community Arts Center (CAC) (established in 1992) serves Houghton, Keweenaw, Baraga, and Ontonagon counties and works in collaboration with over 40 institutions, organizations, and agencies to meet its mission.
The CAC houses the Artists' Market Sales Gallery and represents close to 200 local and regional artists. The Kerredge Gallery has month long exhibitions featuring visiting artists, local artists, and group and theme oriented shows.
The Center offers art classes for people of all ages year around. Arts Center programs are designed not only to make art available to people but to get people involved in the creative process.
The second floor ballroom is available for dances, open mic coffeehouses, community concerts, and slide presentations.
The CCCAC with the Community Arts Center strives to integrate the arts into the fabric of everyday life and grow artists and arts appreciators through exposure to new and challenging artistic opportunities.

Come Visit Our Artist's Market!
The Artists' Market Sales Gallery represents close to 200 local and regional artists. All work is juried by a panel of professional artists for inclusion in the sales gallery. A 40% commission is retained on sales to cover marketing and overhead costs.
We have a new artist, Jennifer Frein from Marquette. She makes messenger bags from beautiful fabrics in fashionable funky combinations. There is new pottery by Dennis Sotala and Jesse Kane, new earrings by Theresa Thompson and Linda Leach, lots of richly hued cast cement leaves by Julie Bakkila, as well as fresh pastels by Rita Williams and jd slack. Also new is Randy Richmond's "Otherography," which is his term for digitally altered photographs that make an environmental statement.
