ABOUT OUR COORDINATOR
Hannah Smith is a recent graduate of Finlandia University, with a B.F.A in Fine Arts, and a concentration in Fiber and Fashion Design. Miss Hannah started her art experience by drawing people at the age of 5 years old. Her love grew as she started taking art classes in her youth, and from what she learned, she drew whatever she could. Since then, she has cultivated her love of all things artistic in the many years following; her specialties lying in surface manipulation and design of textiles. |
SUMMER ARTS CAMP,
now in its 35th year, is five exciting days of art making and exploration for children entering 3rd-6th grades! This year’s Summer Arts Camp coordinator Hannah Smith, along with guest artists, will guide students through engaging and educational art activities focused on projects related to nature, animals, and our relationship to the natural world. Youth will experience a variety of art mediums including drawing, painting, fiber arts, writing, journal making, ceramics, and more! Campers will learn in a fun, supportive, and educational environment. Camp is held M-F, 10am-3pm Choose either Session I or II. Students must wear play clothes and bring a sack lunch. SUMMER ARTS CAMP FEE Register and pay by July 1ST $130 After July 1ST the fee is $150. The discounted fee is only given to applicants that pay by the early registration deadline. Deadline to register for either session is July 13th. Supplies included. SPACE IS LIMITED Register early to assure your child has a spot in Summer Arts Camp 2020! DOWNLOAD THE REGISTRATION BROCHURE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM If enrolling your child in art camp poses a financial challenge, scholarship assistance may be available. Our scholarships come from individuals and the amount available fluctuates from year to year. We award scholarships for $50, which partially covers the cost of Summer Arts Camp. Parents/ guardians must pay the other portion of the camp fee no later than two weeks prior to the start of camp.
