Art Is… Instagram Outdoor Scavenger Hunt
Saturday, September 24 from 10am-5pm EST
A list of 30 clues will be distributed by email to the team captain on Friday, September 23rd at 5pm EST. Teams may begin posting photos on Instagram on Saturday, September 24 at 10am EST. Submissions close at 5pm EST. Teams must post qualifying photo responses to a minimum of 20 clues to be considered for prizes. Be creative! A panel of judges will evaluate each team’s posts to determine winners in several different categories, including but not limited to: Most Creative, First to Finish, and Random Drawing.

At 5pm EST on Friday, September 23rd, each registered team will be emailed a list of clues (to the team captain) to turn into incredible Instagram posts. All posts must be made between the hours of 10am and 5pm EST on Saturday, September 24th. Submit 1 photo per clue and include the following:
Posts will be reviewed by the panel of judges and winners for each prize will be announced by the following week.

Team formation:
- Each team may consist of 1-6 people. You, your friends, family members, and kids. Does your dog or cat have an Instagram account? Your pet's account is also acceptable to use, we just need a human as a contact!
- Teams can be geographically located anywhere in the world!
- Teams participate by posting images from a single “open” Instagram account.
- The team’s Instagram account must follow CCCAC on Instagram.
- Come up with an excellent and unique hashtag for your team name!
- Your team will use this hashtag on each post. A unique hashtag for your team will help us filter and ID your posts correctly. Hashtags have # at the beginning and do not use punctuation marks and spaces. An example of an excellent and unique team hashtag is #teamawesome906
- “How do I know if my team hashtag is unique?” - Search Instagram for the hashtag. If there are no results, or very few results, it is unique. #teamawesome906 is a great example, since nobody has used this hashtag yet.
Fee information:
Team of 1-2 people: $20; $10 discount if the team captain is a current CCCAC member!
Add $5 per additional person, max 6 members on a team.
Deadline to register: Wednesday, September 21st

What are the clues like? Here's a sample from last year: "Collect leaves from the ground that are the same color and shape, and arrange them from smallest to largest in a spiral." So for each clue on the list: you do the activity, take a photo, and your team captain posts it to their open Instagram with the clue number, @coppercountryarts, #artis906, and your #teamname.
